PARC to introduce about 200 national brands of different food products

January 6, 2020: Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) will introduce about two hundred national brands of different food products in order to promote value addition of agriculture products.

In an interview, Director General PARC Dr Azeem Khan said the initiative is also aiming to reduce poverty in the rural areas of the country by enhancing farm income with value addition of agriculture products.

He said the fish and yoghurt processing plant has been established in NARC which providing training for entrepreneurs to establish business and install plants.
