Pakistan, Saudi Arabia collaborate to enhance financial cooperation

January 22, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia discussed potential avenues for enhanced financial cooperation, with a particular focus on strengthening collaboration in the banking sector.

The discussion took place between the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Saeed bin Mohammad Al Ghamdi, Chairman of the Saudi National Bank.

During the meeting, the Finance Minister briefed the Chairman on Pakistan’s recent economic progress and the country’s improved international financial ratings.

Both sides expressed their commitment to deepening economic ties for mutual benefit.
