Pakistan looks into possibilities of producing diesel from coal

November 25, 2019: Pakistan is looking into possibilities of producing diesel from coal to bring down oil import bill and achieve self-sufficiency in this sector.

Talking to APP, official sources said we have a lot of interest to develop diesel from Thar coal and want Chinese assistance in that regard.

He said China has two such mega plants which are successfully running and Pakistan wanted its help in turning Thar coal into diesel.
