June 04, 2025 (MLN): In a significant milestone for Pakistan's manufacturing and export sector, the country has officially entered the list of the top 10 exporters of Truck and Bus Tire (TBR) to the United States for the Q1 2025.

With an impressive 76.3% year-on-year increase in exports compared to Q1 2024, Pakistan exported 111,973 units of TBR tires to the U.S., up from 63,517 units last year.

This remarkable growth has propelled Pakistan to the 10th position on the list of top suppliers.

Furthermore, Pakistan’s average declared value per unit stood at $122.82, making it one of the more cost-effective suppliers in the group.

The data reveals that while the overall imports of TBR tires saw a slight decline of 1.1% in Q1 2025 (totaling 5,372,568 units compared to 5,431,165 units in Q1 2024), Pakistan stood out as one of the fastest-growing contributors.

At the top of the list, Thailand retained its position as the largest exporter to the U.S., although its shipments dropped by 33.9%, from 2,494,607 units in Q1 2024 to 1,647,936 units in Q1 2025.

Vietnam secured second place with 870,212 units, marking a 13.8% increase from the previous year. Japan rounded out the top three, showing strong growth of 49.7%, reaching 653,887 units.

Other notable contributors include Cambodia, which experienced a staggering 226.1% growth, increasing its exports from 170,652 to 556,478 units.
