Pakistan, Deutsche Bank explore sustainable finance framework for green bonds

April 18, 2024 (MLN): Pakistan and the Deutsche Bank on Wednesday discussed the establishment of a Sustainable Finance Framework for the issuance of green/sustainability bonds.

According to a press statement, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, discussed the matter during an interaction with representatives of Deutsche Bank yesterday.

The minister appreciated the way Bank has been extending support to the government of Pakistan in the past.

Bank representatives briefed the Minister on different transaction structures to assist the Government of Pakistan in accessing the international capital markets.
