Pakistan, Bangladesh diplomats focus on strengthening trade ties

January 14, 2025 (MLN): Diplomats from Pakistan and Bangladesh have emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral trade relations during a meeting in Dubai.

The meeting took place between Muhammad Rashedujjaman, the Consul General of Bangladesh in Dubai, and his Pakistani counterpart, Hussain Muhammad.

Welcoming the visiting Consul General, Hussain Muhammad stressed the significance of enhancing trade relations and overall ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan, as per the press release issued.

Both diplomats recognized the potential for collaboration and agreed to involve the trade sections of their respective consulates to foster bilateral cooperation.

They also held a detailed discussion on various consular services, including passport issuance, national identity cards, and visa procedures.

Furthermore, both sides agreed to improve information sharing and collaborate on community services and public awareness initiatives in the future.
