Pakistan appreciates construction work of XPCC on various infrastructure projects

November 8, 2020: Pakistan Ambassador to China Moin ul Haque has appreciated the important work carried out by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corporation on various infrastructure projects in Pakistan.

He made these remarks in his keynote speech at the Corporations investment and trade cooperation forum on the side-lines of the Third China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

He said deep cultural linkages between people of Xinjiang and the bordering areas of Pakistan were rooted in centuries of interaction along the ancient silk routes.

Moin ul Haque said through the visionary Belt and Road Initiative and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the people of both the countries have come even closer to forge a community of shared future.

He said this enhanced connectivity and the second phase of the Pakistan-China Free Trade Agreement, provide an enabling environment for ever more trade and investment links.
