Pakistan aims to become a leading economy by 2035

February 20, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan is on the path to development, with a firm commitment from the government to drive economic progress, stated Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.

Speaking at an event in Islamabad, he expressed confidence that Pakistan will emerge as a leading global economy by 2035.

However, he stressed the need for peace, stability, and policy continuity to achieve this vision, according to the press release issued today.

Later, addressing another event in Islamabad, he highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts between federal and provincial governments to enhance key sectors such as health and education.

He also underscored the significance of Uraan Pakistan, an initiative focused on ensuring the country’s socio-economic development on a sustainable basis.

Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed the government's dedication to long-term national progress.
