Pak-China business conference attracts interest from Chinese enterprises

June 05, 2024 (MLN): Pakistan Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi says Chinese companies have shown great interest in the Pak-China Business Conference, according to the Information Ministry.

In his briefing regarding the conference, the Ambassador said around 700 hundred renowned Chinese companies have registered themselves to participate in the conference.

He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will deliver his keynote address in the inaugural session of the conference.

He said after the inaugural session, business-to-business meetings have been scheduled. Before his address, the prime minister will hold meetings with the businessmen from Pakistan.

The Ambassador said the main purpose of this conference is to promote foreign investment.

He said in the inaugural session, a briefing will be given on the topics of solar energy prospects, Gawadar port, and investment in Pakistan.
