July 05, 2024 (MLN): Overseas Pakistanis will be able to transfer property while sitting abroad, and their complaints will be resolved within 20 days, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain announced during a press conference yesterday.

Initially, Pakistanis in America, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Italy, and Spain will be able to access this facility, he added.

He stated that issues with the power of attorney will be resolved. He also advised Pakistanis not to go abroad illegally. For investments worth $30-40 million, they approach SIFC.

Furthermore, he informed that two thousand IT-skilled individuals will be sent to Japan.

Asylum seekers tarnish the country's reputation, and efforts are being made to make the country's institutions self-reliant.

"If factories were established in our country, Pakistanis would not need to go abroad," he said, emphasizing that the government and institutions should be self-sufficient.

The Mayor of New York has assured that more Pakistanis will be given priority in the paramedical field. Training will be provided to Pakistanis going abroad because they are our ambassadors.

He noted that every year, 700,000 to 800,000 Pakistanis used to go to foreign countries.
