Overall LSMI increases by 16.4% MoM in December

February 14, 2020: The overall output of LSMI decreased by 3.35% for July-December, 2019-20, as compared to July-December, 2018-19.

According to the data release by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the LSMI output increased by 9.66% for December, 2019, as compared to December, 2018 and 16.40% when compared to November 2019.

The production in Jul-Dec2019-20 as compared to Jul-Dec2018-19 has increased in Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Non-Metallic Mineral Products, Fertilizers, Paper & Board and Leather products while it has significantly decreased in respect of Coke & Petroleum Products, Pharmaceuticals, Automobiles, Iron & Steel Products and Electronics.
