OGRA unveils revised RLNG prices for April 2025

April 15, 2025 (MLN): The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised prices for Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for April 2025, effective from April 1, according to a notification issued by OGRA.

The updated prices for RLNG, covering both transmission and distribution segments, show changes for both Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).

For SNGPL, the transmission price has been adjusted to $12.5895 per MMBtu, an increase of $0.5873 (or 4.89%) from the previous price of $12.0022.

The distribution price has been revised to $13.4789 per MMBtu, up by 4.08% from the previous rate of $12.9499.

In contrast, SSGCL has experienced a rise in its transmission price, which has been updated from US$10.6906 per MMBtu to $11.2718, reflecting a 5.44% increase.

However, its distribution price has decreased slightly from $12.7255 to $12.5910 per MMBtu, marking a reduction of $0.1345 (or 1.06%).

OGRA attributed the overall price increase to a rise in the Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) price in the international market.

Meanwhile, the reduction in SSGCL’s distribution price was due to a decrease in its Unaccounted-for Gas (UFG) percentage, which has provided some relief to consumers in the southern region.
