OGDC makes 4th gas, condensate discovery at Spinwam-1

April 08, 2025 (MLN): Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (PSX: OGDC) has reported the fourth gas and condensate discovery in the Lockhart Formation at the Spinwam-1 Well.

The company holds a 35% working interest in the Waziristan Block, with Mari Energies Limited as the operator (55%) and Orient Petroleum Inc. holding the remaining 10%.

Testing in the Lockhart Formation has demonstrated the following flowing parameters:

This discovery follows the company’s previous announcements on February 25, March 18, and April 3, which communicated hydrocarbon discoveries in the Samanasuk, Kawagarh, and Hangu formations, respectively, in the same well.

The testing program for all the target formations in the well has now been concluded.
