NCOC consults provinces to reopen Negative List’s sectors

August 4, 2020 (MLN): Government has started consultations at the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) with provinces on review and possible revision of sectors (subject to SOPs) on the Negative List of opening up. These include tourism, restaurants, marriage halls, parks, etc, Minister Hammad Azhar said on social media.

According to the Minister for Industries & Production, the government is also reviewing the timing that markets & industries are allowed to operate.

‘We have collected the proposals and have asked provinces to finalize SOPs and enforcement methods. The proposals will now be taken to NCC headed by PM to take final decisions in this regard within a few days.’ he further said.
