NCCPL banishes Dewan Cement, Habib Metro Bank from the list of SLB eligible securities

October 16, 2019 (MLN):  The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has released the names of companies that will be excluded / included from the list of eligible securities for respective NCC Systems.

According to the official notice issued to Clearing Members, Dewan Cement, Feroze18888 Mills, Ghandhara Industries and Habib Metropolitan Bank shall be excluded from the list of ‘Securities Lending and Borrowing’ (SLB) eligible securities – Category-A for short-selling with effect from November 14, 2019.

K-Electric Limited shall be removed from Category-A of Margin Trading Systems and moved to Category B, whereas Ghandhara Industries and Habib Metropolitan Bank shall be excluded from Category-B with effect from November 14, 2019.

Moreover, Honda Atlas Cars and K-Electric shall be excluded from Category-A of Margin Eligible Securities (MES) and included in Category-B, while Feroze18888 Mills Limited, Ghandhara Industries, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Packages Limited and Tariq Class Industries shall be excluded from Category-B.
