NADRA suspends Biometric Verification through Mobile Applications

July 25, 2019 (MLN): National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) on Thursday informed market participants that NADRA has suspended Biometric Verification through Mobile Applications for all users including NCCPL, and accordingly the same shall remain unavailable till further intimation.

NCCPL further notified that it was in continuous coordination with NADRA to make these services available again at the earliest.

The company therefore requested all Authorized Intermediaries (AIs) to perform Biometric Verification through Biometric Devices connected through “desktop application” provided by NCCPL.

For the facilitation of Market Participant, NCCPL has arranged Biometric Devices for Global Usage of AIs and their Customers in the NCCPL Offices located in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
