Mid-Day Update: KSE-100 index adds 110 points, rises by 0.24%

The KSE-100 index has added 110 points since open, climbing up by 0.24percent. The sectors leading the market volume: Oil & Gas Marketing Companies, Engineering, Chemical and Technology and Communication.

Unilever Foods +210.00, Hinopak Motor +65.63, Service Industries +49.00 and Mari Petroleum +39.33 are top gainers since the KSE-100 opened this morning. Phillip Morris -113.00, Sapphire Textiles -97.25, Khyber Tobacco -39.49 and Wyeth Pakistan -26.24 are the top losers till time.

KSE-100 is currently trading at 46028.24 points, touching a high of 46106.72 and a low of 45857.92 points till now.

Volume traded till now amounts to 117 million, whereas value traded stands at a 6.15 billion.

Total number of trades carried out during the day equal 54,761.
