MARI makes fourth gas, condensate discovery at Spinwam-1 well

April 08, 2025 (MLN): Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) has made its fourth gas and condensate discovery at the Spinwam-1 exploratory well, located in the Lockhart Formation within the Waziristan Block in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province.

The well's testing in the Lockhart Formation has provided the following key flowing parameters:

This discovery follows previous announcements made on February 25, 2025, March 17, 2025, and April 3,2025, which communicated hydrocarbon discoveries in the Samanasuk, Kawagarh, and Hangu formations, respectively, in the same well.

The testing program for all target formations in the well has now been concluded, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

MariEnergies operates the Waziristan Block with a 55% working interest, alongside joint venture partners Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) with 35% and Orient Petroleum Inc. with 10%.
