MARI keeps investors on toes with unprecedented delayed meeting results

June 09, 2023 (MLN): Shareholders and market participants were left in uncertainty today as MARI Petroleum, known for its exemplary corporate governance standards, failed to release the outcomes of an important board meeting that commenced yesterday at 2:30 PM.

The surprising delay has created curiosity among investors who were enthusiastically awaiting the news, anticipating the possibility of bonus declarations.

With more than 70 minutes passed since the opening of the stock market, the absenteeism of any communication from MARI Petroleum has left investors worried and flashed speculations about the meeting's outcome.

Price Movement:

Due to this delay which resulted in speculation, the scrip price of the company has surged by 3.34% to Rs1,635 compared to the previous closing of Rs1582.22.
