KSE Closing Bell - Index Loses Another 545 Points

Tuesday marked the tenth straight session in which the KSE100 Index closed negative as the index lost another 545.84 points or 1.69 percent. The Index started the session strongly and remained positive for much of the session, however, it starting falling after 1:20PM PST. The index moved in a range of 798.41 points or 2.48% of previous close touching an intraday high of 32,464.52 (209.32) and a low of 31,666.11 (-589.09) points. Total volume increased to 189 million shares compared to 142 million from the previous session. Out of 358 traded companies, 47 closed up, 298 closed down while 13 closed unchanged. Market capitalization decreased by Rs.99.05 Billion.
