KSE Closing Bell

KSE 100 Index closed thursdays trading session at 32,750.31 with a net change of 462.90 points (1.43%) over previous days close. Total Volume was 180.4m compared to previous sessions 209.5m. Total companies traded were 361 with 240 closing up, 102 closing down and 19 remaining unchanged.
Thursdays rally was driven by news of lower monthly inflation, regionaly markets recovering and rise in international crude oil prices along with IMF's immediate release of $500 million to Pakistan.
According to figures released by NCCPL Net foreign investment was almost $2.5 million.
