December 21, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has completed the semi-annual recomposition of the KSE-Meezan 30 Index (KMI-30) for the review period from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024.
Accordingly, Oil & Gas Development Co. Ltd (PSX: OGDC), Sazgar Engineering Works (PSX: SAZEW), Pak Elektron Limited (PSX: PAEL), Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (PSX: HCAR), Fauji Foods Limited (PSX: FFL), K-Electric Limited (PSX: KE), and Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited (PSX: DAWH) are the new additions to the KMI-30.
Meanwhile, Cherat Cement Company Limited (PSX: CHCC), Dolmen City REIT (PSX: DCR), Interloop Limited (PSX: ILP), NetSol Technologies Limited (PSX: NETSOL), Nishat Mills Limited (PSX: NML), Shell Pakistan Limited (PSX: SHELL), and TPL Properties Limited (PSX: TPLP) will be removed from the index.
The revised index composition will take effect from Monday, December 30, 2024.
The recomposition is based on the selection criteria. As a result, several companies will be added to and removed from the index.
Notably, the index committee has outlined a contingency plan in the event of ENGRO's trading suspension or delisting due to its arrangement with DAWH.
If necessary, the next eligible company will be incorporated into the index following the prescribed rules.
