Isuzu transpires as the most demanded truck in March

April 11, 2019 (MLN): The total number of trucks sold during the month of March declined by more than 19.2 percent MoM at 425 units. Moreover, truck sales dropped by around 55 percent YoY from 937 units sold in March last year.
Within this segment, Isuzu made the maximum sales at 245 units, while Master took the second lead by posting a total sales figure of 113 units.
According to the data announced by Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), the total number of Buses sales grew by 81 percent MoM to 67 units, but declined by 25 percent YoY, with major sales number coming in from Hino as it sold 40 units in the aforementioned period.
Likewise, total number of jeeps sold during the period under review declined by 20 percent MoM at 528 units, while total number of tractors sold grew by 42 percent MoM at 5729 units.
