January 02, 2025 (MLN): The importance of Intellectual Property (IP) protection in promoting economic growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Pakistan is outlined by Chairperson Ambassador Farukh Amil and Director General Shazia Adnan.
The Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-PAKISTAN) welcomed a high-level visit from the Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, to its headquarters.
During the visit, the Chairperson and Director General provided a comprehensive briefing and presentation to the Parliamentary Secretary, covering the organization's functions in detail.
The briefing included an overview of the organization's role in promoting Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and geographical indications.
