Intraday: The Benchmark KSE-100 Index gains 795 points

January 9, 2020 (MLN):  The KSE-100 index has notched 795 points in the early trade session, and is currently trading at 42,153-level [10:18 am] as investors’ fear regarding the tension between the US and Iran receded.

Commercial Banks has captured the maximum gained so far, as it has contributed 242 points to the benchmark index, followed by Fertilizer with 89 points.

Company-wise, the scrips of HBL, LUCK, ENGRO, HUBC, UBL and PPL have gathered the maximum points.
