Inaugural conference of Sindh Development Forum on March 28

APP - The Government of Sindh is organizing the Sindh Development Forum (SDF) with the support of USAID and other development partners to advise the Sindh Government and partners on the priorities and strategies on a recurring basis (as opposed to a one-off activity).

In the long-run, SDF is envisaged to transform the nature of development planning in the province that is to become a more proactive, coherent and strategic endeavor, said a statement on Wednesday.

The inaugural event for the SDF is a one-day conference, hosted by the Sindh Government, and scheduled to take place on March 28 at a hotel here.

The conference aims to bring together delegates representing development partners to recognize development gaps and formulate common strategies and through that establish a broad framework for partner cooperation in Sindh for the next 10 years.

The Sindh Chief Minister is expected to be the chief guest on the occasion.
