AFPAPP: Hong Kong traders pushed the city's benchmark index to another gain in the morning session Friday, putting it on course to extend a record winning streak to 14 days, with its all-time high now in sight.
Hang Seng Index added 0.29 percent, or 90.93 points, to 31,211.32 by the break.
US stocks finish at all-time highs
Wall Street stocks finished at fresh records Thursday behind gains in industrial and petroleum-linked equities, resuming their upward climb after a one-day pullback.
At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stood at 25,573.63, up 0.8 percent.
The broad-based S&P 500 gained 2,767.49, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.8 percent to 7,210.01.
