Honda raises car prices for second time this year

March 28, 2022 (MLN): With Indus Motors Company’s (INDU) announcement of price hike, Honda Atlas Cars (HCAR) also followed the suit by increasing the price of its various models for the second time in 2022 due to a jump in freight and input cost.

In January 21, 2022,  the company had raised the prices of cars by up to Rs126,000.

The company increased the prices of 1.2L City MT from Rs2.729 million to Rs3.129mn, a jump of Rs400,000.

Similarly, the price of 1.2L City CVT, 1.5L City CVT, 1.5L City Aspire MT and 1.5L Turbo M CVT variants jumped by Rs300,000 each and now they are available at Rs3.249mn, Rs3.446mn, Rs3.579mn and Rs5.399mn respectively.

The cost of 1.5L City Aspire CVT has risen by Rs295,000 to Rs3.749mn.

BRV CVT S is now priced at Rs4.079mn following a hike of Rs390,000. Earlier, the vehicle was available at Rs3.689mn.

The price of the 1.5L Turbo M CVT Oriel model has seen an upward revision of Rs250,000. The new price is Rs5.649mn.

An increase of Rs350,000 in the price of RS 1.5L Turbo LL-CVT has taken its rate from Rs6.149mn to Rs6.499mn.

Furthermore, the new prices are now in effect.
