Hira Textile Mills requests PSX a shift from default to normal business segment

January 14, 2021 (MLN): The management of Hira Textile Mills Limited, in a notification issued to the PSX on Thursday, requested the Stock Exchange to shift the company from default segment to normal business segment in the interest of common shareholders.

The management of the company said that the production of Melange yarn (special yarn) will be increased gradually and target of 100% production of Melange yarn will be achieved by the end of June 2021.

The company had launched this new variety of yarn in the market in October 2021. Out of the total yarn, 40% Melange yarn was produced and sold to export oriented units like,
