Govt to replace FBR Chairman if his health doesn’t improve soon

February 11, 2020 (MLN): Government may consider changing the current chairman of Federal Board of Revenue, Shabbar Zaidi, lest his health does not improve soon, says Advisor to Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.

Talking to the local media house, he said that FBR chairman went on indefinite leave due to his poor health condition, but it is hoped that he would recover quickly.

With regards to his health, he said FBR chairman will join his office after proper consultation from doctors.
