Govt releases Rs 105 bln for development projects under PSDP

August 31, 2020 (MLN): The federal government has released around 105 billion rupees for different projects under its Public Sector Development Programme during the current financial year.

According to data released by the Ministry of Planning and Development, under its development programme, the government on August 28, 2020, has released 9.4 billion rupees for Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The government also released 13.550 billion rupees for water-related projects in the country.

The Ministry of Planning and Development released funds amounting to 5.6 billion rupees for development projects for higher education commission, 2.7 billion rupees for health-related projects, and 4.7 billion for railways related projects.

A total of 20.9 billion rupees has been released for National Highway Authority (NHA).
