Govt pledges commitment to Moody's, S&P Global credit ratings

October 15, 2023 (MLN): The government is committed to ensure financial stability within the country and implementing reforms aimed at sustaining Pakistan's positive credit rating in the global financial markets, Dr. Shamshad, affirmed both Moody's and the S&P Global on Sunday.

The caretaker finance minister expressed this devotion during two significant meetings held on Sunday, one with a high-level delegation from Moody's and the other with S&P Global.

During the sessions, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar reiterated the government's commitment to transparency in order to foster investor confidence.

She further highlighted the government's dedication to improve the fiscal governance, and implementing reforms that will contribute to sustainable economic growth.
