Government Purchases Ijara Sukuk worth Rs.78.95 Billion on Deferred Payment Basis

February 14, 2019 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan conducted an auction on Thursday in which the Government of Pakistan purchased Rs.78.95 worth of GOP Ijara Sukuk for three years on deferred Payment Basis (Bai Mujjal).

Earlier, the SBP had received bids worth Rs.84.45 Billion against an auction target of Rs.110 Billion with the deferred price ranging between 137.07 and 144.19.

The SBP accepted Rs.78.95 Billion at a deferred payment price of 143.92 making the deferred payment amount Rs.113.624 Billion.
