Gold rises by Rs 400 per tola to Rs 109,300

July 15, 2020 (MLN): Today, gold witnessed an increase in demand as the price of 24 Karat-Gold rose by Rs 400 to Rs 109,300 per tola in the local market. The valuable yellow metal had closed at Rs 108,900 per tola on the previous trading day.
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs 343 to settle at Rs 93,707 against Rs 93,364 on the last trading day.
Similarly, the silver prices also witnessed an increase of Rs 40 to close at Rs 1,110 per tola. Moreover, 10-gram silver gained Rs 32.29 to amount at Rs 943.07.
In the international market, gold prices reached $1,808 an ounce, up by $14 while silver was pegged at $19.32 per ounce.
