Gold rates further drop to Rs 111,000 per tola on Friday

February 12, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates further dropped on Friday in the domestic bullion market, as the price of a single tola of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 800 and was sold for Rs111,000 against the price of Rs 111,800 reported yesterday.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold also witnessed a decline of Rs 685 to settle at Rs 95,165 against the previous close of Rs 95,850, data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association revealed.

On the other hand, the price of silver showed growth as 24-Karat silver and 10-gram of silver went up by Rs. 10 and Rs. 8.57 to Rs 1,400 per tola and Rs 1,1200.7 respectively.

In the International market, the price of gold plummeted by USD 23 and was traded at USD 1,819 an ounce against USD 1,842 an ounce yesterday, while silver was valued at 27.14 an ounce, the association reported.
