Gold rate reaches all-time high, up by Rs6,500

Domestic gold market extends losses from last week

January 28, 2023 (MLN): The price of 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion market moved up by Rs6,500 per tola to Rs209,000 per tola on Saturday, the data issued by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association showed.

To note, gold and silver prices today reaches an all-time high in Pakistan.

As per the data, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs5,574 and was traded at Rs179,184 while the 10gm 22k gold was recorded at Rs164,252.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat and 10-gram silver clocked in at Rs2,300 and Rs1,886.14, respectively, the association reported.

Precious gold in the international market decreased by $2 and was traded at $1,928, and the silver rate stood at $23.60, it added.
