Gold price per tola unchanged in Pakistan

May 09, 2024 (MLN): Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Thursday after witnessing a decline for two consecutive sessions, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs239,200 per tola.

Last week, 24-karat gold dropped by Rs6,400 per tola, taking the cumulative loss over the past two weeks to Rs14,200 per tola or 5.63%.

The Karachi Sarafa Association further reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs205,075 per 10-gram.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted at Rs187,986 per 10-gram.

Silver prices also remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,620 per tola and Rs2,254.8 per 10-gram.

On the global front, international spot gold traded near $2,308.14 an ounce, down by 0.03% compared to the last close.
