Gold price in Pakistan hits historic high of Rs303,000 per Tola

February 10, 2025 (MLN): Gold prices in Pakistan hit a historic high on Monday, with 24-karat gold soaring to Rs303,000 per tola, marking an increase of Rs4,000.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs259,773 after a gain of Rs3,429, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs238,133 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,373 per tola (+Rs43) and Rs2,891 per 10-gram (+Rs37).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,902 an ounce, up $34.5 or 1.20% from the previous session.

Gold prices jumped more than 1% on Monday to hit a record high, as safe-haven demand surged on fears of a global trade war after U.S. President Donald Trump announced new tariff plans.
