Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs800 per tola

March 25, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs317,800 per tola, down Rs800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs272,462 after a decline of Rs686, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs249,765 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,475 per tola and Rs2,979 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,020 an ounce, up $10.8 or 0.36% from the previous session.

Gold edged up on Tuesday as uncertainty over the Trump administration's tariffs next week continued to drive safe-haven demand amid fears of a U.S economic slowdown and heightened inflation.
