Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs6,700 per tola

May 15, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs335,200 per tola, down Rs6,700.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs287,379 after a decline of Rs5,745, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs263,440 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,377 per tola (-Rs105) and Rs2,895 per 10-gram (-Rs90).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,173 an ounce, down $12.2 or 0.38% from the previous session.

Gold prices erased early losses to steady on Thursday, helped by a weaker dollar and technical buying as investors await key U.S. economic data later in the day for further clarity on future interest rates.
