Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs2,400 per tola

February 26, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs306,300 per tola, down Rs2,400.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs262,602 after a decline of Rs2,058, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs240,727 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,314 per tola (-Rs36) and Rs2,841 per 10-gram (-Rs31).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,913 an ounce, down $4.8 or 0.16% from the previous session.

Gold prices were little changed on Wednesday as market participants awaited the U.S. interest rate verdict, while the spotlight was also on President Donald Trump's trade policies amid fresh tariff threats.
