Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs2,300 per tola

May 14, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs341,900 per tola, down Rs2,300.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs293,124 after a decline of Rs1,972, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs268,706 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,482 per tola and Rs2,985 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,236 an ounce, down $17.8 or 0.55% from the previous session.

Gold prices fell on Wednesday as easing U.S.-China trade tensions soothed fears of a potential global recession, boosting investor risk appetite and weighing on bullion's safe-haven appeal.
