Gold nosedives by Rs1,200 per tola in domestic bullion

November 30, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices witnessed a notable decline today as the 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion was sold at Rs122,600, plunged by Rs1,200 per tola.

According to data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also dropped by Rs1,028 and was traded at Rs105,110 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs96,350.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,460 and Rs1,251.71 respectively.

The demand for yellow metal remained intact in the international market as the per ounce gold traded at $1,794 on the back of the concerns among investors pertaining to the Omicron variant.
