Gold hits all time high at Rs294,300

February 04, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs294,300 per tola, up Rs1,900.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs252,314 after a gain of Rs1,629, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs231,296 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,314 per tola (+Rs49) and Rs2,841 per 10-gram (+Rs42).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,816 an ounce, up $3 or 0.11% from the previous session.

Gold prices were steady on Tuesday, after a record rally in the previous session, with investors cautious about the potential effects of President Donald Trump's tariffs and ahead of the U.S. economic data set to be released later this week.
