Gold falls Rs500 per tola

September 30, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs275,500 per tola, down Rs500.

It is worth noting that compared to the official rates quoted by the Karachi Sarafa Association, some jewelers in Karachi informed Mettis Global News that the yellow metal is being traded nearly Rs9,000 per tola higher.

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,655 an ounce, down $7.9 or 0.30% from the previous session.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs236,197 per 10-gram, down Rs428.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted lower at Rs216,514 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,050 per tola and Rs2,615 per 10-gram.
