Gold extends gains to a 5th straight session

December 31, 2020 (MLN): Gold rates rose on Thursday, stretching their advance to a fifth straight session, in the domestic bullion market. The price of 24 karat gold edged up by Rs 350 to Rs 114,000 against the price of Rs 113,650 per tola reported yesterday.

According to the data compiled by the All Sindh Saraf and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold moved up by Rs 301 to stand at Rs 97,737 against the price of Rs 97,436 reported in the previous session.

On the other hand, the price of silver tola and 10-gram silver tola remained static at Rs 1,320 and Rs 1,131.68 respectively.

In the international market, the gold rate inched up by $14 to $1,894 an ounce, while the price of silver was pegged at $26.50 an ounce.
