Gold edges lower by Rs500 to close at Rs109,600

June 16, 2021 (MLN): The price of per tola 24- karat gold on Wednesday witnessed a decline of Rs500 to stand at Rs109,600 in the domestic bullion market compared to its previous close at Rs110,100.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 gram 24 karat also dropped by Rs429 and traded at Rs93,964 while the price of ten gram 22 Karat gold stood at Rs86,134.

Whereas per tola price of 24karat silver remained flat at Rs1,460. Similarly, 10-gram silver remained stable at Rs1,251.71.

In the international market, demand for yellow metal dented by $4 to $1,855 per ounce, while silver was valued at $27.70 per ounce.
