September 6, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates in the domestic market witnessed a slight increase as the price of 24 karat per tola gold inched up by Rs100 to close at Rs112,400, Karachi Sarafa Association reported.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold moved up Rs85 to stand at Rs96,365 while 10-gm 22 karat gold traded at Rs88,334.
However, the price of per tola and 10-gram silver remained stable at Rs1,430 and Rs1,226 respectively.
On the other hand, the demand for yellow metal was scratched by $4 to trade at $1,824 per ounce in the international market. The investors’ interest remained subdued owing to the weaker-than-expected U.S. non-farm payrolls data. While silver was valued at $24.75 an ounce.
