GB adviser expresses satisfaction over mode of distribution wheat

October 09, 2018: Adviser for Food Gilgit Baltistan Ghulam Muhammad paid visit to wheat depot and reviewed distribution mechanism of the commodity on Tuesday, 9^th October.

Accompanied by Tourism Minister Fida Khan, the food adviser expressed satisfaction over the mode of distribution of wheat and added that 10.5 million bags of wheat had been distributed through transparent manner.

He said that quality product was supplied to the depot and added that the food department’s officers were working day and night to ensure GB could receive required quota of wheat on time.

He said that wheat stock was handled through computerized programme and added that there was complete transparency in supply chain of the commodity.
