First rental payment disbursed for GIS bonds on PSX

July 25, 2024 (MLN): In reference to the clearing and settlement of Government of Pakistan (GOP) Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) listed at the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX), the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has announced the successful disbursement of the first rental payment for certain GIS.

According to a notice issued by the clearing company to PSX today, the disbursement includes the following GIS bonds:

3-Year Fixed Rental Rate - Maturity 24-Jan-27
5-Year Fixed Rental Rate - Maturity 24-Jan-29
3-Year Variable Rental Rate - Maturity 24-Jan-27
5-Year Variable Rental Rate - Maturity 24-Jan-29

NCCPL further shared that Clearing Members can review the payment by accessing the National Clearing & Settlement System (NCSS), available in the GDS menu under GDS Payment Details and GDS Pay Summary for Clients.
